Self preservation; each one of us is hardwired with that instict when we are born. The strategy to ensure our lives will continue when faced with the most difficult, deadliest scenarios. We hava a plan for college, marriage, career, retirement, yet when it comes to death? …it’s ovbviously one of society’s biggest faux pauxs.
We have detailed plans for weddings; seating arrangement, the menu, who will attend? Plans for our dream home or caeer. We even plan for a family. Planning for your death?… Well no, we never really plan on how we’ll get to heaven?
If you’re like most people, I bet you seldom think about heaven? Did you ever wonder why that is? Why we don’t think of heaven as often, I mean?
I think its because when we think of heaven, our mind instinctively then goes to death. And in doing so, you might think of the method of your death or fixate on the limitations and frailties of the human body.
Between balancing family, work, etc., getting into the pearly gates isn’t on your priority list. You might go through life never giving it a thought or you figure when you’re in the last inning in the “game of life”, you’ll then give God your attention, devotion, and love.
Building the mystery on how you’ll get to heaven…
In our current digital world, where every topic is up for discussion on the internet, death is rarely approached. Sadly, even the Holy Church doesn’t discuss it with much depth. Just like the mystery of Jesus’s death, and ascention to heaven, we have many unanswered questions about our own death.
The current Vatican clergy who shape doctrine, rewrite it purposely to keep us in the dark on the transfiguation (leaving the body, becoming spirity/soul). They tell you riddles, parables, and postulates; confusing you until you don’t know what to believe? Being vague strengthens the whole mystery about heaven. The heaven and hell narrative easily suppresses any difficult moral and ethical questions that may arise
Hell on earth…
A woman moves her ill mother into her family’s home. A long-suffering illness; pain switching the dynamics of parent and child. The daughter stands by and watches her mother turn into a shell of their former self. Unrecognizable to any traits that made them familiar and unique
A child is born with a congenital illness; their little body is frail and each breath precious. You dread each day because you know it could be your child’s last. Praying intently, you hold on tightly, never letting go. Until the day it’s final… and you must.
A husband is envolved in an automobile accident; in a coma his condition is critical. Miraculously he awakes to realize he will have to live the rest of his life as a quadriplegic. The wife instantly becomes caregiver and soul breadwinner for him and their five children.
What is the common denominator of the situations you just read? Think about it and we’ll come back to this a little later in this article.
The truth on how you really get to heaven
Life is precious. It’s one of the few things you can’t place monetary value on. Our world is fixated on life, living, and evolving. In contrast, death having little preparation or thought. When dealing with the topic of death, we use euphemisms or indirect inferences. Or, are you like most people and just simply ignore it all together? These are similar strategies most people take when discussing heaven.
Religion has been hijacked by heretics. Religious influencers are learning false promises and false prayers gain the largest flock. Consider too that they have the most ability to reach the masses. No difference whether it’s the Papacy in Rome, or PTL …they are marching to the beat of the same drummer.
Let’s go back to the three scenarios I discussed before, can you think what they all have in common? If you said suffering/sacrifice, then you’re more enlightened than the average seminarian of Vatican II.
Detailed sacrifice and suffering in everyday life…
In the first example, the parent suffered (through the horrible illness) and the child sacrificed (giving up their dreams and ambitions to take care of a dying parent. Each day they watched their mother become consumed in anguish and torment).
As like the previous scenario, the elements of sacrifice and suffering is the sacrifice of the child’s life, as God calls their soul home. The parent is to suffer on earth. Knowing that they’ll never see them again on this earth; carrying the burden of depression and pain.
The last example, the husband suffers as he deals with the loss of using his physical body, not being able to continue his role as husband, father, bread winner. The wife sacrifices as she attempts to assume both parent roles to their children in addition to being care giver to her husband. All while not forgetting how to find a new career that can support the enomrmous finaincial burden on her family.
It isn’t pretty, but it’s true…
Did you catch that? How you really get to heaven? My “off the record”, honest advice doesn’t fare to well with those who have difficulty dealing with reality. Especially those who want to persuade the masses by deceiving and lying. It’s not pretty, I know; but it’s the truth. We are to suffer and sacrifice in this world in order to live in “his”. That is basically it in a nutshell. I understand it sounds more appealing when we hear “God is love, you just need to love one another”, the golden rule, etc. However, that’s not how you get into heaven…it takes more than acting it, you must live it.
God’s understanding of humanity and our limited intellectual awareness; sent Jesus to earth. People learned in order to get to God and heaven they must go through the son Jesus. Therefore, you must live and act as Jesus did. But how do you become more like Jesus, you ask? One being selfless; offering yourself so that God spares others pain and anguish. You must sacrifice that others can know and experience love and joy. The importance isn’t to become God like, rather it is to know, fully understand, and live as Jesus did on this earth.
Elementary explanation to Divinity…
Jesus tells his disciple John that the only way to the father is through him https://drbo.org/cgi-bin/s?q=+John+14%3A6+&x=22&y=11&b=drb&t=0. He is telling of the process one must take to get to heaven (i.e. God). In order to pass through Jesus you must emulate him in every way…in other words walk the walk, and talk the talk. To be more blunt about it…You must suffer/sacrifice to become more like Jesus.
Jesus (through his father) then grants you entry into Heaven. Heaven allows you to be closer in proximity to God (this doesn’t mean you will necessarily be allowed to see him and interact with him). Just being in the same realm with God is enough to sustain your spirit. Thus, when you are in God’s presence you will experience perpetual peace, eternal happiness, and love.
Impossibility’s of ever getting to heaven.
Expressing the order in which you must follow to get into heaven is like a blueprint for the soul. I know I make it sounds easy. But please know, its only the outline and you must be thorough when using it, and engage, fully immersed in every feeling and experience. At times the acts of sacrifice and suffering are almost uncomprehensible; pain, fear, anguish; feelings on different degrees and levels.
Having choices means that each person will have experiences that are personal and exclusive to them. Suffering and sacrificing can isolate and define you. However, don’t fall into the trap of thinking that nobody knows what you’re going through. No one can understand your pain. You’re all alone in your battles and struggles while here on earth. That is clearly the devil trying to make you feel worthless, confused, and fearful.
STOP THINKING THIS WAY!
Power of free-will…
As humans, we have the ability to show sympathy and empathy. It’s a defining marker between us and other species. We can look beyond ourselves and put others’ needs before our own. In addition to exercise priority and value to rationalize and validate our actions.
The Holy Gospels of the Bible are stories from God’s teachings on how to be obedient, loyal and loving. In essence, God is telling us how to get into heaven. God gave the Jewish people commandments to follow. These commandments were ignored and defiled by the tribes of Israel. For this, he banished them from Jerusalem scattering them like dust, because they greatly sinned against him.
*(the sin was the Israelites turned away from God and worshipped Ba’al and Moloch; falling into hedonistic promiscuity, as well as offering child sacrifice as appeasement to the Demonic dark forces. **Note that this horrific apostasy occurred three different times ).
The ultimate act of sacrifice and suffering…
God knew that their wickedness was so powerful, a great cleansing was the only option to rid the earth of it. God the father stated the atonement according to the prophecy was the blood shed of all men must occur to destroy the evil on the earth. The Lord is just and loving, so before this was to pass he decided he might spare them and give man one last opportunity for salvation.
God offering his son Jesus, so that he may shed his sacred blood so all others could be spared on earth. He sent his son to earth, transforming his being so he could teach them how to love and have eternal peace. Jesus was believing that teaching God’s way, the prophecy might spare his blood shed. Sadly, that didn’t happen. God allowed the prophecy to be fulfilled. Agreeing that his only son Jesus Christ was the offering, so that all mankind could find salvation in his name.

After years of Jesus teachings on earth, performing miracles, it wasn’t enough. He knew he would have to suffer greatly and sacrifice himself to save us. The prophecy must be fulfilled, so Jesus was then commanded by his father that he must die. Just as Jesus suffered here on earth before entering heaven, you too will have to suffer to get into heaven. If God expected his son to endure sacrifice and suffering for him to pass through the pearly gates, he’s going to expect you too as well…don’t you think?
Not all suffering and sacrifice is created equal…
Life isn’t two-dimensional, there are various degrees on various levels. So to are the elements of suffering and sacrificing. Primarily they fall into either indirect (you are stricken with a terminal illness; out of your control) or direct (you consciously decide to do it for the greater good of someone else; to give part of your paycheck to a local family shelter which means you’ll have less money to buy the things you normally would buy).
I personally think that indirect suffering is more difficult because you tend to keep it to yourself. Afraid of showing weakness, or being inferior to your counterparts you cover up the issue. It pushes you to the breaking point, testing your faith. A person getting a sudden life ending illness comes to mind.
In contrast to direct, which mostly is a choice you make. People want others to notice their suffering or sacrifice to get approval and be liked by others. Philanthropy comes to mind as a perfecrt example.
Making sure you really get to heaven…
So now you know how you really get to heaven, here’s how you make sure that you really do! My advice would be no matter what hardship or adversity you encounter in life, accept it with humility and a loving heart. You’ll find that the hard times, suffering, and pain are just as sweet as the good times. Discovering it’s during those times you grow stronger as you grow closer to God.
It also prepares you for transition of your final phase on earth; death. Most people, after they realize the magnificent transformation of body to soul during their personal journey, will forget all about the ties that bound them to the earthly realm. They, just like you, will elevate to higher consciousness of enlightenment.
Final thoughts for your journey…
It may sound strange, but death should be something you anticipate with great wonderment and joy, as it’s the gateway for your body to transform into the soul and move from earth into the ethereal realm of heaven.
Before your physical body is consumed by your soul and moves on to heaven, you’ll will have experienced many periods of anguish and pain in your life. This is the one thing that teaches how to be humble, forgiving, and loving. You will know the ways of Jesus, and his teaching will be a template for you to follow here on earth. The path you followed on earth was steep, dark, and treacherous. Now it is placid, luminous, and the entrance to heaven is become accessible.
